Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and ecstasy (Molly) at the MGM Grand hotel yesterday. He was booked and released on a $5,000 bail.
The LA King released a statement regarding Jarret’s arrest confirming they have launched a thorough internal investigation.
We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll. Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.
Suge Knight got some good news today when the judge in his murder case dropped one of his hit and run charges that left one person dead. According to TMZ, the judge also reduced his bail from $25 million to $10 million. Suge’s lawyer Matthew Fletcher said with the lessor bail his client might be getting out real soon.
Just when Knight receives a little bit of good news, he is rushed to the hospital for an medical emergency. Nicole Nishida, Los Angeles sheriff’s spokeswoman says she cannot release any further details on his condition.
Rapper Nelly is facing felony drug charges after his tour bus was pulled over early Saturday morning in Tennessee. According to sources a state trooper stopped his tour bus around 9:20am for not displaying a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Fuel Tax Association (IFTA) sticker on the vehicle. Once the trooper approached the bus, he claims he could smell marijuana, so a probable cause search was conducted. The officers found a plastic bag containing five colored crystal-type rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. They also found numerous handguns, including a gold-plated 50-caliber Desert Eagle pistol, a 45-caliber Tarus pistol, and a 500 magnum Smith and Wesson. Nelly wasn’t charged with gun possession, but he was taken into custody for felony drug charges and booked on a $10,000 bond. He is now out on bail.
After Vernon Turner (aka Mr. Malik Yoba) was killed off of Empire, rumors quickly starting circulating the internet that he may have been fired for having a bad drug problem. Malik wanted to clear up those allegations that was made by The Inquisitr (based in Thailand). He called in to TMZ and had this to say. Check out the video below. Darius McCrary who is best known for his role as Eddie Winslow on “Family Matters,” was arrested on Wednesday for failing to pay his child support. The 38 year old actor appeared in Oakland County family court where a judge gave him two options: pay his back child support in the amount of $5,500 or sit in jail for 14 days. Of course Darius paid the $5,500 and was released from jail a short time after. Let’s hope he continues to pay his child support so he can remain a free man and focus on his acting career.

RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia State Del. Joe Morrissey (I – 74th) officially announced Wednesday his plan to run for the 16th state Senate District Democratic nomination, which by law will require him to vacate the House seat he now holds through a recent special election that cost taxpayers $54,000. WTVR CBS 6 political reporter Joe St. George first broke news of Morrissey’s run on Saturday.
Morrissey, at the urging of Democractic lawmakers, had resigned the seat he held since 2007 and then announced a run as an Independent. He won January’s special election with more than 44% of votes.

The internet been going crazy today after word got out that 2 Chainz is now the new CEO of the Atlanta Hawks, but is he really the new CEO? Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan is wanted for questioning in Miami, after he assaulted a club bouncer for denying him entry into a night club early Monday morning. According to a police report, the 25-year-old rapper who is best known for his radio hit “Type of Way,” tried to enter LIV at the Fontainebleau with his entourage through a back VIP door. They was then informed by a security guard that the club had reached it’s capacity and was denied entry. Richie Homie Quan then started name dropping saying he was with Flo Rida and reportedly threatening to rush through the VIP entrance. According to sources Rich Homie Quan was heard screaming “I’m Rich Homie Quan and I’m a rich millionaire, B***h. I’m coming through these doors. I’m with Flo Rida,”. The security guard, Christian Cajigas, told police that Rich Homie Quan landed at least two punches to his face, and stated that some of his entourage joined in causing him to have a busted nose and bloodied lip. Rich Homie Quan and his people ran before the police arrived leaving in a speedboat.
